Anna Rossetti, 89, died peacefully on January 22, 2022, at home with her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1932, and was the seventh of nine Palmieri children, who she loved with her whole heart. Anna was preceded in death by her soulmate husband of 70 years Anthony “Tony” Rossettiand her eight siblings Mickey, Frankie, Eddie, Pete, Terry, Donna, and Lucille.
Anna was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother. She always put family first and made sure that everyone was taken care of. Anna is survived by her son Ralph Rossetti and his wife Debbie from California, and her daughter Edith “Edie” Rossetti-Rieder and her husband Jimmy from Colonia. Anna was a proud Grandmother of her “babies” James Michael Rieder from Maryland, Anthony Rieder and his wife Christina from Washington, and Katie Rossetti from California and many nieces and nephews.
Anna loved to travel with her husband and family, she loved cooking, baking, and ironing. There was always something in the oven and enough to feed anyone who stopped by. The smell of cookies still linger in the household. Anna made each day special for her family and that will be a whole that can never be filled.
Anna’s Funeral Service will be held at St. John Vianney Church in Colonia at 10:45. Cremation is private. She would be honored to have you all join in celebrating her life at 1051 Bistro in Clark, New Jersey immediately following the mass.
