Angelo Fiorino passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. He was born in Jersey City and resided in Jersey City, Linden and Edison before moving to Marlboro in 2009
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during World War ll where he was a recipient of the World War ll Victory Medal, American Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Angelo was a Foreman/Mechanic for Fedway Associates in Kearny for 55 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Linden and Edison.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Theresa Fiorino, and his son Paul Fiorino. He was also predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Angelina (Roma), his sisters Elvira Nichilo and Helen Fiorino, and his brothers Arthur, John and Dominic (Father Joe). Surviving are his children Anthony Fiorino and his wife Carrol, and Angela Laucik and her husband Michael, his grandchildren Anthony, Carrolyn, Jenniffer, Jillian, Matthew, Jamie, Aaron, and Jared along with 16 great-grandchildren, and his brother Carmine Fiorino and his wife Anneliese.
Visitation Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Friday 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Helena Church, Edison. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington.
