Alfred J. Lizak

Alfred J. Lizak, 87, of Colonia, NJ, passed away on January 23 rd , 2026 in JFK Medical Center in
Edison, NJ.
Alfred was born in Newark,NJ to Joseph and Jennie on 11,30,1938. He went to high school at
Irvington High School and graduated in 1957.  He went on to serve in the Air Force from 1958
1962. He worked as a diesel mechanic for International Harvester and Giant International until
his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Diane, of Colonia, NJ. His 2 sons Thomas S. and Allen. Grand
children Thomas T. and Natalie. Nieces Patricia Szostak and Susan Ohmer. Friends Betty and
Ray Rabbath and good life long friends Carole & Charlie Cirella. He is preceded in death by his
Father Joseph and Mother Jennie. Sister Kay Szostak. Nephews Robert Szostak, Michael
Daukshus and Christopher Daukshus. And his good friend Gerd Pierro.
Funeral service will be private.
