Albert Thomas Edmonds, born on June 19, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 81.
He spent most of his life in New Jersey. A graduate of Rutgers University and a proud U.S. Army veteran. Albert built a successful career as a salesman and sales manager working for Xerox and Eastman Kodak. He was known for his generosity, kindness, caring nature, and hardworking spirit.
Albert had a great love for the ocean and the beach, enjoying vacations at Vision Beach, where he loved sitting in the sun and riding the waves. He passed on his love of the ocean to his children. His love of sports began during his high school years when he participated on the track team and became an accomplished sprinter. He enjoyed volunteering as a coach for his children’s soccer and basketball teams. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, with a great love for his family and friends.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Edmonds, their two children, Ryan Edmonds and Melanie Edmonds, Melanie’s husband, Robert Gauthier, their children, Jackson Gauthier and Layla Gauthier, his brother, William Edmonds, and many nieces, nephews, brother in laws, sister in laws, and cousins.
