Walter Curtis Obituary

Walter L Curtis, 85, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at Care One at the Highlands Edison. He was born in Union and resided in Edison before moving to Brick 4 years ago.

He proudly served our country as a Corpsman in the US Navy during the Korean War.  He was the owner of Curtis Landscaping in Edison for 18 years and then he was a truck driver for Path Mark and Linden Motor Freight for 15 years retiring 20 years ago. He was an active member, head usher and ran the flea market Kitchen for the New Dover United Methodist Church, Edison.

    Walter was predeceased by his wife Beverly Curtis (2008), his parents Linwood and Jennie Curtis, his brother Richard Curtis. Surviving are his children Linda Crouse and her husband Tom, Sharon Rasmussen, Patricia Marlowe and her husband Skip, Alan Curtis and his wife Nicole, 7 grand Children Ian, Brian, Jennie, Allison, Erica, Nicole, Clifford, 5 great grandchildren and his companion Puggy.

            Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 1,2018 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 10:00AM at the funeral home, followed by a 11:00 AM Blessing at the New Dover United Methodist Church, Edison. Cremation Private.
