Wallace W. Wild, of Colonia died Monday, May 1st at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.  He was 85.

Born in Westfield, he lived in Garwood before moving to Colonia in 1955.

He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for American Flange in Linden for over 40 years before retiring in the mid-1990s.

Wallace was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean War.  He was also a fan of the NY Yankees.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Cindy Lenzi; brothers, Eddie, Douglas and Charles Wild; and sister, Shirley Czarniewy.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Kathy of Union; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Michael Brock of Howell; 10 grandchildren, John, Nicole, Maria, Michael, Renee, Jenna, Michael, Bryan, Jason & Justin; and 5 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Anthony, Dominic, Angela & Landon.
