Theodore Joseph Onulak passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at the Four Seasons Hospice Flat Rock, NC. Mr. Onulak was born in Mahanoy City, PA and resided in Edison before moving to Arden, NC a year and a half ago.
He was a Plant Chemist at PSE&G in Elizabeth for 43 years. He enjoyed his family and friends, music, cars, making people laugh and of course, eating! Theodore proudly served our country in the United States Army 2nd Battalion 38th Infantry Regiment during World War ll, serving in Battle of the Bulge and D-Day. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Onulak was a life-time honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Onulak was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Katherine in 2011. Surviving are his sons Theodore and his wife Jean of Carteret, Mark of Highlands, Chris and his wife Margaret of Arden, NC and Kenneth and his wife Helen of Scottsdale, Az. Theodore is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Danielle, Jonathan, Dustin, Jordan, Kenneth Jr., Robert and Andrew; 6 great grandchildren Mason, Hudson, Mallory, Marcus, Mia and Emmett. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 9, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ. A visitation will be held at 8:30am to 9:30am on Saturday August 10, 2019 at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Helena RC Church in Edison. Cremation will be private.
