Sharon Harry Obituary

Sharon Harry was born on July 25th 1960 to George and Carmen Ramdial.

She attended La Retraite Primary School in La Retraite, West Bank Demerara, Guyana, and then onto West Demerara Secondary School.  She continued her higher education at Critchlow Labor College and received her degree in Social Studies.

She spent a few years of employment at Public Service Commission, and Teaching Service Commission in Georgetown before migrating to the United States in 1984.  She then returned to Guyana to marry her husband David Harry in 1985.

She attended Essex County College where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1990.  After graduating, Sharon started her nursing career at East Orange General Hospital and continued to work there for 10 years as a Registered Nurse.  In 2001, she moved to South Brunswick, NJ and worked as a Registered Nurse for Phoenix Health Care Agency until 2007. She finished her nursing career at Franklin Health Care Rehabilitation Center as a Nursing Supervisor until the summer of 2016.

Sharon was a member of the Christian Brethren Church in East Orange, NJ with the rest of her family.  Sharon decided to take early retirement from nursing and moved to Glassboro, NJ to spend time with her immediate family.  Sharon was always a charismatic, outgoing and a generous individual.

Sharon went home to glory on March 1st 2018, and one day we shall all be together.  She leaves behind her husband David, daughter Zannette and son David Brandon. She also leaves behind her mother Carmen and her sisters Barbara, Margaret, Sonia, Gillian, Robin and Geraldine. Her brothers George Jr, Mark Anthony and Paul. She also leaves behind multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
