Samuel Doktor

Samuel Doktor, of Edison died Monday, February 12, 2018 JFK Medical Center, Edison.

Born in Iselin, NJ, he lived in Linden before moving to Edison over 60 years ago.

He was a machinist for Alloyco in Linden for 33 years. He also worked as a custodian in Edison township retiring in 1995. Samuel was a parishioner of the St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Rahway.

Samuel was predeceased by his wife Mary Doktor (2014).

Surviving are his sons David S Doktor and Daniel L. Doktor and his wife Cheryl B Doktor, his daughter Deborah M Doktor and her husband Major G Robertson, also 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 15, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. A Blessing will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Burial to follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Clark.
