Ruth C (Muller) Comito

Ruth Comito of Colonia, New Jersey passed away peacefully on October 11, 2017 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. She was born 83 years ago in Germany where she met her beloved late husband Frank and in 1952 moved across the sea to America. 

She will be missed by her 4 children, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Comito of Katy, Texas; Michele Davis of Katy, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Comito of Linden, New Jersey, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Comito of Sewaren, New Jersey; 8 grandchildren Frank, Matthew, Dayna, Brandon, Melissa, John, Ryan, and Shane; 3 great grandchildren Logan, Kennedy, and Tyler.

She was a longtime resident of Colonia. She enjoyed attending mass, gardening, crocheting and enjoying time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and an avid fan of the New York Yankees. She was a selfless woman who never stopped helping others.

A viewing will be held at Gosselins Funeral Home in Edison, New Jersey on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 4:00 pm  to 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2017 at St. John Vienney Church in Colonia, New Jersey at 9:30 am.
