Rose D. Levandoski passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Senior Home in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Rose was born in 1927 to Constantino Notte and Angela Maria Ricigliano in Newark, New Jersey. Rose and her husband Lawrence were the proprietors of The Coffee Cup in Rahway, New Jersey. Rose was the loving mother to two children, Thomas and Lorri and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Cecelia’s church. Rose was an avid mah-jongg player at the Chatham and Colonia senior citizen centers.
Rose was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Lawrence in 2000.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Constantino and Angela Maria. She was also predeceased by her grand-daughter, Danielle Caynor in 2010. She was also predeceased by her brothers John, Dominick, Anthony, Vincent, Constantino Notte and her sisters, Angela Maria Farese, Henrieta Caproni, Margaret Rendina and Lucy Seaman.
Surviving are her daughter Lorri (Joseph D’Orsi) and son Thomas (Carol Levandoski). Rose also leaves behind her grandson, Tyler (Stephanie) and two greatgrandchildren, Morgan and Cameron.
The visitation will take place on Wednesday December 11, 2019 from 2:00-6:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 660 New Dover Road Edison.
All to meet at church on Thursday morning.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00AM at St. Cecelia’s Church in Iselin at 45 Wilus Way.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Rose’s honor to St. Cecelia’s Church in Iselin for the pascal candle.
