Rose Cerami

Rose Cerami, 104, passed away Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Cerami was born and resided in Brooklyn before moving to Iselin 1955. She was a seamstress for Regina Clothing Manufacturing in Perth Amboy for 25 years retiring 39 years ago. She was a parishioner, Member of the Alter Rosary Society and Eucharistic Minister for St. Cecelia’s RC Church, Iselin. She was a member of the JFK Medical Center, Edison Women’s Auxiliary.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Joseph "Curly" Cerami, her daughter Carol Ann Teliszewski, her sisters Theresa Albanese, Frances Simonetti and her brother Frank Cutrone. Surviving are her sons Joseph Cerami and his wife Suzanne and Dennis Cerami and his wife Michelle, her son -in-law Gerald Teliszewski, 7 grandchildren Joseph Cerami, lll, Gina Marie Cerami and her partner Laura Ferrara, John Teliszewski, Toni Marie Teliszewski, Jessica Butrico and her husband John, Joseph Cerami and his wife Alexis, Dennis M. Cerami also 5 great grandchildren Anthony John Butrico, Jake Butrico, Shaun Butrico, Alivia Rose Cerami, Liana Camille Cerami.  Rose is also survived by her sister Mary Cerami also many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday February 10, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Monday February 11, 2019 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St. Cecelia Church, Iselin. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
