Richard J. Gaczynski, died Monday March 19, 2018 at NJ Veterans Home at Menlo Park. He was born in Jersey City and resided in Iselin and Brick before moving to Edison 5 years ago.
Richard proudly served our country during WW ll in the US Army. He was a machine assembler for Eagan Machinery in Bridgewater for 8 years and then he was a Letter Carrier for the USPS in Metuchen for 15 years before retiring in 1986.
Richard was predeceased by his wife Anne Quinlan Gaczynski (2012), his sister Adele Burke, his granddaughter Cara Beth Policelli and his parents Frank and Wanda Gaczynski. Surviving are his children Richard Gaczynski and his wife Anne, Marie Olochwoszcz and her husband Steve, Jerilyn Policelli and her husband Marc also 6 grandchildren Shannon, Sean, Steven, Annemarie, Michael, Meghan and 6 great grandchildren Sebastian, Marc, Ethan, Tobin, Ava and Kaylee.
Visitation Sunday March 25, 2018 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ 08820 Funeral Service Monday March 26, 2018 at 10:15AM at the funeral home followed by a 11:15AM mass at St. Cecelia RC Church Iselin. Interment at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery Wrightstown, NJ
