Phil J Piereth

Phil Piereth passed away peacefully Saturday September 15, 2018 at JFK Haven Hospice, Edison NJ surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Plainfield and resided in Iselin before moving to Edison 1990.

Phil graduated JFK High School class of 1974 and Lincoln Tech 1975. He was owner of a successful auto repair business, Phil’s Auto Specialists Inc. in Woodbridge for 28 years retiring 3 years ago. He enjoyed boating, Nascar, fishing and weekends at the shore.

He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Theresa Piereth and his brother Russell Piereth.

 Surviving is his wife of 15 years Christiane (Greffer) Piereth, his brother Robert Piereth and his wife Mary and his sister’s in law Barbara Piereth and Chantal Greffer and her husband Don Roder also his nephew Jonathan and his best friend’s Tony Virag and Al Wascha.

Visitation Wednesday September 19,2018 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ. Funeral services Thursday September 20, 2018  8:45AM at the funeral home followed by a10:00AM Mass at Most Holy Rosary/Good Shepherd RC Church, Hopelawn. Interment Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords.
