Peter Reisz

Peter Reisz passed away on August 22, 2019 at JFK Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old. Peter was born in Vienna, Austria moving to the U.S. in 1939 residing in Edison for 49 years. He proudly served our country in the Army in the 60s. Peter obtain his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University early 1970s. He was an Electrical Engineer and also taught Mechanical Engineering at NJIT retiring in 2003 at the age 66. Peter was an avid baseball fan, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting and school events.

He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Johanna Reisz. Surviving are his wife of 57 years Isabelle Reisz; 3 Children Greg Reisz of Howell, Michele Brennan and her husband Bill of Somerset, and Scott Reisz of Forked River; 6 grandchildren Avery, Ryan, Eric, Derek, Brayden and Aiden.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 25, 2019 from 2:00PM- 6:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ. Cremation will be held privately.
