Lillian Manna (nee Rodriguez) of Colonia, age 88, passed away peacefully Monday January 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by loving family.
Lillian is predeceased by her husband Angelo Manna and her daughter Emily and husband Ronald Greene. Surviving are her daughters and their husbands, Patricia (Wayne) Peake, Mary (Edward) Tamburo and Lilly (David) Bobrowsky, her grandchildren Joel, Jaclyn, Jenna, Lauren, Ryan, Ashlee, Eddie, Joey, Sophia, Isabella, Daniel and her great grandchild Jordan.
Lillian was born in New York, NY and resided in Brooklyn before moving to Colonia 47 years ago. She met the love of her life, Angelo Manna while working together. They married September 29, 1951. Lillian was a homemaker but, spent several years volunteering at the Colonia First Aid Auxiliary.
Lillian is remembered by her children as a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lillian’s focus in life was to be with family up until the end.
The viewing will take place at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ, on Friday, January 11 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 12 at 8:00a.m at the funeral home followed by a 9:00am Mass at St John Vianney Church in Colonia. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia NJ.
