On May 19, 2018 Lawrence Pacifico ended his journey on earth and joined our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Lawrence was born September 16, 1927 in Elizabeth, N.J.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 -1947. His Ship, the USS DIXIE, participated in both atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll, which he was honored to witness. After his discharge from the service he was employed by Airborne Accessories, Hillside N.J. in 1950, which later became Plessey Dynamics.
He started as an assembler, later became field service representative and after years of experience, a Production Engineer.
In 1960 he relocated to Colonia, N.J. He met Deanna Rhein in 1966 and they were married Jan. 28, 1968. They relocated to Whiting, N.J. 2000.
They had two sons, Lawrence R, Michael T and a daughter Melissa.
Lawrence retired in 1992 after 42 years of service.
He enjoyed crabbing, playing softball, and bowling, but most of all he enjoyed and treasured the time he spent with his family and his beloved dog Rusty (who passed away May 3, 2007).
He was a devoted lover of all animals.
Lawrence was predeceased by his beloved wife Deanna on June 29, 2002.
He is survived by devoted sons/daughter; Lawrence R. and wife Rose Marie, Michael T. and wife Danielle, Melissa and husband Larry Hawes, grandsons, Michael, Matteo, Nico and Miles; granddaughter, Abigail.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM with a blessing at 8PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Interment Friday May 25, 2018 10:30AM at William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Everyone to meet at cemetery.
