Lawrence Guttadora passed away on June 20, 2019 at Center for Hope in Scotch Plains following a brief illness.
Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington and settled in Iselin. Graduated from John F. Kennedy H.S. and Union County Technical Institute.
He worked as an electronic technician at Airco, N.J. Communications and for 37 years at Princeton Plasma Physics Lab at Princeton University.
He was an Amateur Radio Operator, an avid collector of antique radios and a talented wood carver.
He is predeceased by his mother Ann DeSante and father Louis M. Guttadora.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Mazur Guttadora, children Nicole (Gerald) Bartolotti, Gregory (Kristina) Guttadora and Thomas (Lori) Guttadora. He was loving PopPop to Cole Bartolotti, Grayce Guttadora and Graham Guttadora. Also survived by sister Joanne Cerrat and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 24, 2019 at St. Cecelia’s Church at 45 Wilus Way Iselin, NJ. At 10:30AM.
Interment will be private.
