Judith Ann Stanczewski passed away on July 20, 2019 at 71 years of age in Ohio State University Hospital surrounded by family. Judy was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on July 14, 1948. She and her deceased husband, Stanley Stanczewski, raised their family in Edison, New Jersey. She moved to Westerville, Ohio seven years ago after her husband Stanley passed away January 2012.
Judy was a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Sims and husband John, son Kristian Stanczewski and wife MaryBeth, son Bradley Stanczewski and wife Pam. She is also survived by her 9 loving grandchildren Danielle, Olivia, Kristian, Ella, Judy, Ben, Will, Charlie and Blake. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Novak of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Judy graduated from Woodbridge High School, Woodbridge, New Jersey. She was a homemaker for many years. Later in life, she was employed by Raritan Bay Medical Center as an administrative assistant in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She devoted many years as a caregiver to her husband, Stanley, who passed away at age 66.
Judy also had a great love for dogs and many were part of her family throughout her life. Avid knitter who created many beautiful sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves and so much more for her family and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held at Saint Paul’s Church in Westerville, Ohio on Thursday.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 29, at 11:00am at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Inman Ave., Colonia, New Jersey.
