I am so sorry this is so late. I just learned today of the loss your family has had. Joe was always a bright light around me when I knew him in high school. Always had a smile on his face. He was a sweet kind guy that always made ya feel better. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Dear Helen and Joe,
We are so, so sorry for your loss.  No parent should experience this pain.  We want you to know that we are praying for all of you so that you may better cope with this loss.
Dear Ellen,
You are too young to know this kind of pain but know we are praying for you too.  Reach out to your friends for comfort because they will be there for you.       Our Condolences, Bo and Rosalie Hish

Dear Helen, Joe and Ellen ----

Words cannot express what I, we, all of us, are feeling.  Joe was AMAZING....From the first day I met him, I felt as if I had known him.... forever.  He was truly genuine, real, and soooo, sooo funny.  He was one of the few...that could actually make me laugh...especially when I didn't feel like laughing, and hadn't laughed in such a long time.  He touched my soul in his own unique way.  I loved that he came to the Poconos, several times, to visit with all of us......he was the life of the party (not to mention the NUMBER ONE FAN of my baked ziti with meat sauce---it was a prerequisite....)  I will NEVER forget him.  You all will be in my constant thoughts and prayers....  +

Dear Smith Family,
Our deepest sympathies for the loss of your son.  Although we never met Joseph, we heard alot about him from our son, Kevin, and we are deeply saddened that he is gone at such a young age.  Our prayers are with you.

Dear Smith Family and Close Friends,

I can't begin to imagine what you are going thru right now, but my heart goes out to you at this time. I hope you find some solace in the fact that he is in a much better place, since he was such a good, kind and beautiful person (inside and out).  From what I remember of him from High School, he was always such an easy going and carefree person, one who wouldn't want people worrying about him.   I know everyone that he has touched will be keeping him in their thoughts and prayers, along with you.  My deepest sympathies and condolences.

Dear Smith Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I graduated with Joe in 1996 and he was and will always be a very special person to me. I just saw him a few weeks ago at Chilis. We laughed at everything and talked for hours. When my grandmother passed away in March he was by my side. When I was happy, he made me happier and when I was sad, he cheered me up. He always knew how to make me laugh. He will always be close to my heart and I am lucky to have had know him. My deepest sympathies and condolences.
