John R Mostow, Sr.

John Ross Mostow, Sr. passed away Friday April 19, 2019 at JFK Medical Center, Edison surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Elizabeth and resided in Metuchen, Newark and Avenel before moving to Edison 43 years ago.

He was employed by Max L. Brown Industrial Supply of Carteret for over 40 years retiring in 2013.

John was predeceased by his daughter Susan C Small, his parents John and Elizabeth Mostow. Surviving are his wife of 55 years Virginia Mostow, his children John Mostow, Jr. and his wife Catherine, Scott Mostow, Sr. and his wife Deborah and Wendy Lee and her husband Christian his son-in-law Michael Small, Sr. He will also be missed by his 5 grandchildren, Michael Small, Jr. Morgan, Kate, Jack, and Scotty Mostow. His sister Sally Muglia and her husband Allen and his brother David Mostow.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Blessing will be Wednesday April 24, 2019 10:00am at  at the funeral home followed by interment at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
