Henry J Reckfort

Henry J Reckfort passed away peacefully at JFK Medical Center, Edison on January 11,2018. He was born in Newark and resided in Morristown and Perth Amboy before moving to Edison in 1959. He was a Computer engineer for Burroughs which changed names to Unisys based out of Central NJ for over 36 years retiring in 1995. Henry proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Henry was predeceased by his parents Henry and Helena Reckfort and his sister Marion Durma. Surviving are his wife of 62 years Madelyn Sullivan Reckfort his children Michael Reckfort and his wife Stephanie, Kurt Reckfort, Susan Karlowitz and her husband David and Janice Voreas and her husband Chris and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 14, 2018 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 15, 2018 at 10:30AM at the funeral home, followed by a 11:30AM mass at St Helena RC Church, Edison. Cremation Private.
