Henry (Hank) Parzykowski passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 11, 2018. He was born and resided in Bayonne moving to Rahway in 1957. Henry proudly served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean War where he was awarded many medals. He worked for Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent in Kearny for 29 years. He also worked for Kearfott Navigational and Guidance. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 1146, American Legions Post # 0005 and the Elks Club all of Rahway. He was also a member of the NRA. Henry was an outdoorsman. He liked to hunt and fish. His favorite hobby was taxidermy.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Frances (Basiaga) Parzykowski and his wife Irene Parzykowski (2008). Surviving are his two loving daughters Ellen M Zyra and her husband Gary and Alison A. Parzykowski, his grandson Matthew E. Zyra and his companion Corine Reich.
Visitation will be Monday May 14, 2018 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Tuesday May 15, 2108 at 8:30AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Mass at St John Vianney Church Colonia. Interment at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
