Donald G Friewald

Donald Friewald passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at JFK Medical Center, Edison New Jersey.  He was born and resided in Irvington before moving to Iselin in 1962.

He proudly served our country in the Navy during Korean War serving on the destroyer USS Harlan R. Dickson. He was a member of the National Tin Can Sailor. Donald was a truck driver for Moore’s Trucking in Piscataway, Rickles Home Improvement and Channel Home Improvement until 1999. After retirement he was a bus driver for Dapper Bus Company in Iselin.

Donald was predeceased by his parents George D. and Gladys A. Friewald, his sister Lorraine Henrizi. Surviving are his wife of 64 years Norma G. (Cordier) Friewald, his daughter Cherie A. Sutton his nephew Randy Henrizi and his niece Lori Jane Hays.

Visitation is from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Private interment at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, Union.
