Deborah Elizabeth Snyder, passed away Sunday June 23, 2019, peacefully at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick after a 2-year battle with Lymphoma.
She was born in Perth Amboy New Jersey, and was raised in Iselin New Jersey. Deb graduated from JFK High School, Iselin in 1973.
She was a self-employed antique furniture refinisher, worked as a purchasing manager at a food company in Piscataway and sold books for Amazon. After the death of her father in 2001 she became a care giver to her mother.
Deb enjoyed gardening and caring for her cats. She was very artistic and was engaged in many projects. Deborah was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of The Church of Saint Catherine Laboure in Middletown, NJ.
She leaves behind many special people who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Snyder in 2001 and her brother Robert Snyder in 2016. She is survived by her mother Arlene Snyder, her brother Douglas Snyder and sister-in-law Ida, her sister-in-law Karen Snyder, her nieces Anne Snyder and Susan Pankowski also many special cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be on Friday June 28, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Rd, Edison NJ. Funeral Services Saturday June 29, 2019 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Cecelia RC Church, Iselin.
