Anita (Basu) Sarkar

Anita Sarkar was born on July 17, 1962 in Kolkata, India.
She came to the United States in 1984 and married then-Prabir Sarkar. She had one daughter, Paromita, and one son, Victor.
In 2006, she remarried to Daniel L. Donald, and has one son, Daniel.
She passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 at home after battling cancer that spread to her brain. She surpassed her 6-month survival diagnosis, and miraculously was able to live for another 2 1/2 years.
She is survived by her children, Victor, Paromita, and Daniel; husband, Daniel; and two brothers who currently reside back in India.
