Victoria DeAugustine

Victoria DeAugustine (nee Peterpaul) 92 of Edison, died on April 18, 2024. The visitation will be on Wednesday April 24 at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ from 4:00PM-8:00PM. The Funeral will be on Thursday 9:00AM-10:00AM at the Funeral Home, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM at St. Helena's Church in Edison. The Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum, Colonia. In lieu of flowers donations and contributions can be made in Victoria's memory to the Arthritis Foundation or the Dementia Society of America

Victoria was born in Hillside, NJ, and grew up in Newark where she later met her husband, Michael. Victoria enjoyed many things including sewing, cooking and spending time at the beach. She was a strong and independent person, protective of her family and cherished the memories she created throughout her life and times with family and friends. She dedicated her time in service of her community spending many years supporting Italian American culture through her volunteer work with the Plainfield chapter of Unico. She enjoyed Sunday dinners surrounded by family, sharing food and stories all while watching her family grow.

Victoria was predeceased by her parents George and Carmella (Ammiano). Victoria was married 49 years and is predeceased by her loving husband Michael her daughter Carolann (John) and her three brothers George, Anthony (Sonny), and Donald. She is survived by her two sisters Roseann Cicalese and Marie Kirk (Donald) and four children Michael (Maryann), Camille, Donald (Nancy) and Daniel (Janet). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren Jaclyn, John, Nicholas, Jennifer, Lauren, Michael, Christopher, Nicole, and Daniel and seven great granddaughters.
