Brent Busse, of Colonia passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 3rd at the age of 45. He was born in Rahway and resided in Colonia for most of his life.
Brent was a former chemist at Hampton Clarke Labs in Fairfield.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years Jo-Ann (Chamberlain) Busse; a daughter Kaitlin, and a son Matthew both at home; his parents Gary and Charlotte Busse of Colonia; and a brother, G. Dirk Busse of Westfield.
Cremation will be private. Blessing will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 11am at Vanderhoven Chapel Hazelwood Cemetery Clark interment of ashes to follow.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 2PM-6PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison NJ .
Donations in his loving memory to: American Diabetes Association.

Dearest Jo-Ann, Kaitlin and Matthew,
This sad news just broke my heart. I know exactly what you and your family must be going through right now. There are no words really that one can say that will make a difference or change things when one loses a special person in their lives. I will say this, hold on to those closest to you, your children, Joyce and her family and all other family members and your closest friends, they will be there for you when you need them to support you and comfort you. Tell those children every day that you love them and will be there for them always. Brent is at peace now, in a better place and will remain in your heart forever. Jo-Ann and children. Please accept my sincere condolences and those of my wife Marsha and my mother on the passing of your husband. Though i met Brent only a few times during his short life, those times were always full of joy and happiness. These are difficult times for you and your children. I know you have a loving family and you will be able to lean on them for support.
