Basil Guirguis of Edison passed away Thursday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born in Queens, NY he resided in Edison all his life. Basil is survived by his wife of 8 years, Stacie Vogel-Guirguis, two sons Evan Basil and Shane Edward Guirguis, his parents Edward and Ismini Guirguis of Edison, and his sister Vivian and her husband Maged and their three children Miranda, Gabriella and Phoebe of Edison,grandmother Blanche Guirguis. He will be missed by his coworkers at ICC and by his loving friends and family here and abroad. He had a passion for music, cars and life which will live on through his children and all of his soldiers. The Celebration of Basil's life will be Sunday from 6-8 pm at St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, 433 Riva Ave, East Brunswick followed by funeral Service Monday at 10 a.m. at church. Entombment to follow St Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
