Virgilio L. Pinto, of Roselle died Thursday, February 11th at home. He was 77.
Born in Santa Barbara de Nexe, Portugal, he lived in Sao Paolo, Brazil and Elizabeth before moving to Roselle in 1965.
He worked as an Assembler for General Motors in Linden for over 35 years before retiring in the early 1990s.
Virgilio enjoyed traveling to Portugal and Florida and especially spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Maria; daughter and son-in-law, Grace Pinto and her husband Jay Mandal of Edison; and granddaughter, Natasha.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16th at 8:30 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. Helena’s RC Church, Edison. Entombment to follow in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15th from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
