Ted was born February 13, 1919 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Christina and Theodore Fauquier Sr. At a very early age, Ted moved with his family to Menlo Park (Edison). One of his favorite stories to tell was of meeting Thomas Edison in 1931 and shaking his hand.

Ted worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Conrail and New Jersey Transit for 40+ years retiring in 1981. He spent his retirement riding his bike, woodworking, gardening, playing with his grandchildren and visiting friends on his bike all around Edison.

Ted was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Virginia, his parents, sisters Elvira and Edna and his brother Robert. Surviving are his sons David and his wife, Vanessa, Gene and his wife, Donna, and Kenneth and his wife, Carol, his grandchildren Jamie, Lori, Nicole, and Jason and their spouses, great grandchildren Ross, Cali, Evan, Molly, Max and Sadie.
