Ted worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Conrail and New Jersey Transit for 40+ years retiring in 1981. He spent his retirement riding his bike, woodworking, gardening, playing with his grandchildren and visiting friends on his bike all around Edison.

Surviving are his sons David and his wife, Vanessa, Gene and his wife, Donna, and Kenneth and his wife, Carol, his grandchildren Jamie, Lori, Nicole, and Jason and their spouses, great grandchildren Ross, Cali, Evan, Molly, Max and Sadie.
