Stella (Dydalewicz) Mores

Stella Mores, of Rahway died Wednesday, November 16th at the Riverton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Rahway.  She was 93.

Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington before moving to Rahway in 1981.

She was a homemaker and devoted mother who was an active volunteer at her children’s schools.  Stella also loved to knit, sew, do puzzles and especially spend time with her family.

Her husband, John Mores, Sr. died in 1999.  She is also predeceased by her brother, Ted Dydalewicz; and sisters, Jean Malinowski and Wanda Ostenski.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John J. Mores, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Cranford; daughter and son-in-law, Dale Petruzzi and her husband, Vinnie of Colonia; sisters, Steffie Riley and Lulu Ciske, both of Colonia; grandchildren, Anthony and Lisa (husband Wayne); and great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Gianna.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 9 to 11 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison with a Blessing to follow at 11 AM.  Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
