Stella (Dzikowicz) Cardillo

Stella Cardillo, 93, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at JFK Haven Hospice, Edison, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jersey City and resided in Colonia for 57 years before moving to Metuchen 8 years ago.

              Stella was predeceased by her husband Ralph Cardillo, her parents Peter and Caroline Dzikowicz and 8 brothers and sisters. She was the loving mother of JoAnn Gomes, Joseph Romano, John Cardillo and his partner Dorothy Grandjean Smith, Donna Tartaglia and her husband John, Deborah Turk and her husband Daniel, grandchildren, Eric and his wife Michelle, Scott and his wife Doris and Kelly Gomes, Jamie and his wife Melanie and Nicholas Tartaglia, Lexi Turk, great grandchildren Bryce, Blair, Michael and Nicholas Gomes, her sister Helen Slodowski, her brother Chester Dzikowicz and many nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be held on Monday March 5, 2018 at 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Funeral Services will be 9:00AM Tuesday March 6, 2018 at the funeral home followed by a   10:30AM Mass at St Peters Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Entombment to follow in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
