Salvatore J Manfre passed away Friday April 28,2017 at RWJ University Hospital, Rahway surrounded by his loving family. He was born and resided in Newark, NJ before moving to Iselin 57 years ago. He was a machinist for American Products in Union for 25 years retiring in 1996.

Salvatore was pre-deceased by his parents Rosario and Angelina Manfre, his sisters Margaret, Lena, Lucy, Virginia, his brothers Joseph and Patsy. Surviving are his wife of 62 years Mildred Manfre, his daughter Donna Marie Gelesky and her husband Michael and his son Michael Manfre, Sr., 6 grandchildren Michael Manfre Jr and his wife Natalie, Stephanie Rasimowicz and her husband Brian, Zachary Manfre , Justin Gelesky, Chelsea Manfre, Tory Manfre also 4 great grandchildren Meadow, Violet, Madison and Michael lll.

Visitation Monday May 1, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Service Tuesday, May 2, 2017 9:00am followed by a 10:00am Funeral Mass at St Cecelia RC Church, Iselin. Cremation will be private.
