Robert Jordan, “Bobby” age 80, of Colonia passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2015 at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ.
Robert was born on May 29, 1935 to Mary and Alfred Jordan. Surviving are his son, Robert Paul Jordan and his wife, Charlotte of Knightdale, NC. and his daughter, Gayle Marie Saliani, also two grandchildren, Briana and Jake Saliani of Cary, North Carolina. He was the former husband and friend of Marlene Day. Twelve siblings also survive him. Robert who lived in the Colonia area most of his life, was a great mechanic, who worked for Matlack, Quadrell Bros and Dapper Bus Company. He served in the United States army as a mechanic during 1958-1960.
Robert’s ashes will be transported to North Carolina where he will rest in peace with his family.
