Rita M. (Forest) White

             Rita M. White, formerly of Clark died Wednesday, July 29th at Haven Hospice at the JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by her loving family.  She was 92.

            Born in Windsor, Quebec, she lived in Montreal, Hamilton Ontario, Portland Maine, Clark where she raised her family and Oklahoma before moving to Edison.

            She was a homemaker.  Rita enjoyed her time knitting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking & baking, maintaining her home, and above all spending time with her family.

            She is predeceased by her parents, John & Marie Anne Forest; her 11 siblings, John, Marie, Simone, Bertha, Freddy, Gerry, Cecile, Germaine, George, Romeo and Allard; and daughter, Michelle Brisebois.

            Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Sidney; sons and daughters-in-law, John & Renee White of Colonia and Brian & Coral White of Stillwater, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne Kaplan and her husband Lee, also of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Danny, Jason, Elizabeth,Victoria,Michael and Lauren; and 2 great-granddaughters, Daisy and Olivia.

            Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31st from 10 to 11 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, followed by an 11:30 AM graveside service at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
