Rita Migacz passed away Monday June 22nd at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Larned, Kansas and resided in Newark before moving to Colonia in 1956.
She was a loving wife and devoted mother in which her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Rita was a member of the Saint John Vianney Altar Rosary Society and their Mini Choir singing at funerals.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Anthony Migacz, Sr. (1983).
Surviving are her children Anthony Migacz, Jr. and his wife Aurora of Colonia, John Migacz and his wife Marcia of South Carolina, and Mary Migacz of Colonia; her 8 grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Melissa, Brian, Joseph, James, and Adam; 9 great-grandchildren, her sisters Dee Wilmeth and June Brazell both of New Mexico.
Visitation Friday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral service at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 8 AM followed by a 9 AM Funeral Mass at St John Vianney Church, Colonia. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
