Regina M. “Mary” Milne, of Colonia entered the kingdom of heaven Saturday, April 23rd at home.  She was 93 and died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Staten Island, New York, she has lived in Colonia for the past 60 years.

She was a dedicated wife, dearest mother and devoted Nana.  She worked at Weston’s in Newark prior to raising her children.  Later in life she worked part time in Orbach’s and Steinbach’s Departments Stores in Woodbridge Center Mall. 

Mary was a faithful parishioner of St. Helena’s RC Church in Edison.  She most enjoyed cooking and entertaining with her family.  She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and caring for others.  In return for all her generous deeds she was blessed with loving care in her final years by her family and wonderful caregiver, Anna Josaiova.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Harry G. Milne; son and daughter-in-law, George H. Milne and his wife, Cheri of Cutler Ridge, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Milne of Belford, Linda Durning and her significant other, Robert Hoffman of Union, Sharon Slinsky and her husband Tom of Hillsborough, and Mary Beth Milne and her significant other, Chuck Safarian of Colonia; grandchildren, Robert (wife Lisa), Christopher, Brian (significant other Luisa), Thomas and Kristen; and great-granddaughters, Carly, Caitlyn and Gabi.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29th at 10AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, followed by a 11 AM Mass at St. Helena’s RC Church, Edison.  Cremation will be held privately.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29th at 10AM at the Funeral Home, followed by a 11 AM Mass at St. Helena RC Church, Edison. Cremation will be held privately.
