Philip J. Musso

Philip Musso passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New York City resided in Linden before moving to Colonia 61 years ago.

Philip proudly served our country in the Air Force as a 1st Lt. at Wright Air Development Center, Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Rutgers University, School of Engineering with a BS in engineering and received a Masters in Administration from Stevens Institute of Technology. He worked for RCA in Princeton, Harrison, Somerville and NY City for 36 years as an engineer and computer programmer retiring in 1989.

Philip was a former AARP/VITA volunteer tax preparer for senior citizens in Linden and Colonia. He also volunteered at JFK Hospital in Edison for over 10 years. He was an Usher at St John Vianney Church for many years and charter member of the Colonia Knights of Columbus.

  Surviving are wife of 62 years Georgina Musso, his sons Philip T. and his wife Joanne and Robert and his wife Janet.

Visitation will be Thursday 12/28/2017 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Friday 12/29/2017 8:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St John Vianney Church. Interment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia
