Nicholas Husar

Nicholas Husar ​passed​ ​away​ peacefully ​on​ ​September​ ​23, ​ ​2017 at his home, Edison surrounded by his loving family. ​​Nicholas ​was​ ​born​ ​in Newark and resided North Arlington before moving to Edison in 1977.

Nicholas proudly served our country in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a technician for Sherwin Williams Company in Newark for over 40 years retiring in 1996.

He was predeceased by his sister Mary Simko.  Survived​ ​by​ ​his wife Dolores Husar,, his sister Helen Memoli nephews Philip, Neal, John, Michael, Jerry and Brian Memoli and his nieces Dawn Simko, Suzanne Thomas and Joanne Mielczarski..

  Visitation will be Thursday September 28, 2017 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Friday September 29,2017 at 8:30AM at the Funeral Home followed by a 9:30AM Mass at St Helena RC Church, Edison. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
