Michele (Mastropietro) Beck

Michele Beck, of Edison passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd at the JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She was 66.

Born in Plainfield, she lived in South Plainfield before moving to Edison in 1984.

Michele was a well-loved teacher at St. John Vianney's Catholic School in Colonia for over 25 years before retiring in 2015.  She loved teaching and educating her students, as well as spending time with her pets and family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael & Carmela Mastropietro.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Walter Beck Jr.; daughters and son-in-law, Nancy Beck and Jennifer & Robert Collins, all of Colonia; brother, Michael Mastropietro, Jr. of Metuchen; and sister-in-law, Christine DiCanto of South Plainfield.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 8:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia.  Cremation will be held privately.
