Mary Madigan

Mary Oria Madigan, affectionately known as Mema, passed away at her home in Warrenville, SC on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 97. Mary was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ and lived in Iselin and Edison until moving into her beautiful new home in South Carolina in 2006. She worked at the A&S department store for 10 years, but she wouldn't care about that being mentioned here; most importantly, her joy in life came from spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, hosting, and making amazing pizza for them; she spoiled them in any way that she could. She also enjoyed chatting and FaceTiming with her two year old great-granddaughter, Madelyn. Mary was an avid reader and a dedicated fan of NCIS, which could be found on her television almost 24 hours a day.

She was predeceased by her husband, James, who passed away in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Goldfedder, and husband, Phillip; daughter, Sharon Rubino; granddaughter, Carly Rubino; grandson, Thomas Rubino and wife, Jade; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Rubino; sister, Dolores Oria, and brother, Louis Oria.

Services will be held at Gosselin’s Funeral Home, New Dover Road, Edison, NJ on Saturday, April 8th at 9A followed by a mass at St Helena’s Church, Grove Avenue, Edison at 10:30A.
