Mary C (Herrmann) Dempsey

Mary C Dempsey, passed away Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in New York City and grew up in Riverdale, NY. She resided in Bronx, NY and then moved to Carteret in 1953. Mary enjoyed cooking and reading but most of all spending time with her family.

Mrs. Dempsey was predeceased by her husband Daniel Dempsey in 1993. Surviving are her children Daniel Dempsey and his wife Gloria, John Dempsey and his wife Cheryl, Marianne Malone and her husband William and Joan Hagan and her husband Timothy also 9 grandchildren William H Malone lll, Daniel Malone and his wife Jennifer, Erin Hannum and her husband Keith, Jessica Gutwein  and her husband Randy, Steven Dempsey and his fiancée Kaitlin Hoepner, Kimberly Hagan, Kate Di Nuzzo and her husband Thomas, Timothy Hagan , Beth Dempsey and her fiancé David Rule and 4 great grandchildren Billy Malone lV, Olivia Gutwein, Quinn and Wesley Hannum.

Visitation will be held on Sunday September 10th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Monday September 11th 8:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St Helena Church, Edison. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
