Lillian A Kordos

Lillian A. Kordos, of Iselin died Monday, October 5th at home.  She was 90.

Born in the Guttenberg section of West New York, New Jersey, she lived in Newark and East Orange before moving to Iselin in 1952.

She attended the Newark City Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1947.  She then worked as a Registered Nurse at the Newark City Hospital for 7 years.  Previously she worked at I.J. Lewis and for General Electric in Newark.

Lillian served in the United States Cadet Nurse Corp from 1944 to 1947, and was a member of the Nurses Alumni Association in Newark.  She was also an honorary member of the City Hospital Alumni Association and an honorary life member of the USS Hansford Association.

Her husband, Joseph Kordos died in 1992.  She is also predeceased by her parents, Andrew & Giselle Knazovick; and sister, Irene.  Surviving are her sons, Steven Kordos of Hammington and Richard Kordos of Avenel; and grandsons, Matthew and Stefen Kordos also daughters-in-law, Linda and Tracylee.
