Today is June 6th our dear friend Kelvin’s birthday. We used to celebrate his birthday with him and now we still go and see him on his birthday but in a different way unfortunately. We hope your family celebrates today just as kelvin would want you guys to celebrate rather then mourn. Remember your beautiful son is always with you guys and that god blessed your family with such a wonderful son who Still continues to be as wonderful as you raised him to be. We drive past your house all the time remembering all the good times we had there with kelvin and we always want to knock on your door but we felt it would just bring more sadness being that the trail took so long and knowing that your family had to go to court for years long I could imagine the pain you all have been going through to finally get some type of justice, but now that some justice was served and I say that because my boyfriend and I feel those men should of gotten life in prison for what they did to your amazing, so loving son, and our perfect, loyal, always so honest and loving friend, maybe it’s time for us to just visit you guys to remember all the good times and maybe enjoy some of kelvins moms amazing food :) kelvin was always so proud of his mothers cooking and loved for people to try it I could just hear him right now saying “my mom made this, you gotta try it she’s the best cook” lol and boy was he right every time we tried many of her different dishes :) Vinny and I just want you guys to celebrate kelvins birthday today with nothing but great memories, laughter, great food and just celebrate it exactly how kelvin enjoyed celebrating his day. We hope your family is doing a little better and just to know that your sons real friends still talk about him in the best ways constantly, we miss him daily as if he was a brother to us, and we just wish he was still here with us and you guys. We now have a 4 year old son and wish kelvin could be here present to know our son and play with our son because your son did enjoy making jokes, playing, and just putting on the biggest smile on little children’s faces. WE MISS YOU SO MUCH KELVIN HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR BELOVED FRIEND/ANGEL. We’ll be seeing you in a couple hours at the cemetery

I'm not sure if we ever met  but my son Jonathan Brown was  good friends with Kelvin back in middle school- i remember dropping off Jon at your house where they hung out- Kelvin was very sweet and friendly-Jonathan is still in shock and i  just found out- they had't seen each other in awhile but they had a nice friendship for a number of years-my thoughts and prayers are with you now and i know Kelvin is in a peaceful place.      Sharon

Kelvin was actually a very close friend to Vinny and I. We are so sorry for your loss. Kelvin was a very nice and generous friend at all times. Kelvin loved going to go the go kart track with us to constantly eatting at different places kelvin wanted us to go to with him. You guys really raised kelvin to be a respectful and loving man and a wonderful caring friend. He didn't deserve what was done to him and your family doesnt deserve this pain and suffer. We will never forget kelvin he was one of a kind. Please stay strong, kelvin is now in a better place looking out for all of us. We will keep intouch with you guys. Miss you Kelvin. Rest in peace. Justice will be served!

     Hello, my name is Shakira and I really just wanted to express my condolences for your loss. I work for a doctor whom Kelvin used to see a long time ago. I havent seen him in so long, but upon hearing this awful news, i immediately remembered him. I\'ll actually never forget him. He had the warmest smile, and he was incredibly generous, FUNNY, and kind. He used to bring me and the other receptionist breakfast even when we\'d tell him not to. But he\'d insist, and in he\'d walk with 3 mcdonald\'s bags. But he never asked for anything in return. One thing we had in common was art. He was very talented!!! He actually gave me a very nice sketchbook that he didnt draw in very much. After that, he\'d always ask me \"so did you draw anything yet?\" And I have. I only regret that the last few times I saw him, we didnt talk as much.
People like Kelvin are very special and rare. I know he was a gem even though I didnt know him outside the office I work at. I\'m very sorry and deeply saddened that he is gone. I\'m one of Jehovah\'s Witnesses, and I hope that the bible\'s message of a resurrection of dear ones such as your beautiful loved one Kelvin, will give you comfort and peace.
