Joseph Aiello, of Iselin died Monday March 12, 2018 at Ashbrook Nursing Home, Scotch Plains He was born and resided in Elizabeth before moving to Iselin 62 years ago. Joseph proudly served our country in the US Army Air Corp during World War ll. He was a Truck driver for AB Murray in Union for 29 retiring in 1982. After retirement he became a security guard for Woodbridge Center for 5 years. Joseph was a member of the Woodbridge Auxiliary Police for 12 years. He was a member of the Colonia A ARP and an active member of the Evergreen Senior Center in Colonia.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife Virginia Aiello,(2010) and his brothers Frank and Dominick Aiello. Surviving are his son, Allan and his wife Marianne Aiello of South Plainfield; daughter Joann and her husband Tim Palic of Concord, North Carolina; and 4 grandchildren, Nicole and Alyssa Aiello and Christopher and Michelle Palic and his brother Louis Aiello.
Visitation Thursday March 15, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home Blessing will be at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be Friday March 16, 2018 at 10:00AM the funeral home followed by Internment at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden
