John Olenchak

John  Olenchak of Edison passed away peacefully Friday, September 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Scranton, PA, he lived in East Brunswick and Iselin before moving to Edison 16 years ago.

John was a Network Engineer for MetLife in Pa and NY, Telcordia in Piscataway, then Cyberthink in Bridgewater for many years. After retirement, he was a Limo Driver for Crystal Limousine.  He was a member of the St. Cecelia’s Knights of Columbus as a 3rd and 4th Degree Knight.

He was predeceased by his parents John R. and Frances (Novak) Olenchak. Surviving are his wife  of 32 years Gloria; son, Jason Olenchak; daughters Kristina DeSimone and her spouse Gaetan and Liana Olenchak. Also survived by his sister, Marie Griffin.

Visitation will be Monday, September 25 ,2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Tuesday September 26 ,2017 9:00AM at the Funeral Home, followed by 10:00AM Mass at St. Cecelia RC Church, Iselin. Interment will be at St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, PA.
