John L Haines died Sunday February 22nd at home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Haines was born in Newark and resided in Jersey City before moving to Iselin in 1962. John proudly served his country in the Army during WW ll. He was a Postal Clerk in Kearney for 42 years retiring in 1986. John was a member of Teamsters Local 560, the Metuchen Country Club and an Usher for St. Cecelia RC Church, Iselin.
Mr. Haines was predeceased by his 7 sisters and 1 brother. Surviving is his wife of 63 years Ann, his children John Haines and his wife Vicki and Bob Haines and his wife Barbara Ann, his brother Leo Haines and a sister Patty Tracey also 4 grandchildren.
