John J Casale

John J Casale passed away peacefully on Saturday March 25, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Edison, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elizabeth and resided in Colonia before retiring in Forked River. In 2016, he moved back to Avenel.  John proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a millwright for Western Electric later AT & T in Berkley Heights for over 45 years retiring in the late 1990’s.  He was a member of the Lacey Elks Club and Father Duffy division of the AOH of Ocean County.

            John was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife Anne Marion Casale (2008). Surviving are his children John Casale and his fiancée Vania, Eric Casale , Dawn Farkas and her husband Kenneth, his grandchildren Kristen Berry and Kimberly Casale also a great granddaughter Oriana Berry.

Visitation Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 5:00pm and 9:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Thursday March 30,2017, 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Andrew’s RC Church Avenel. Entombment will be at Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
