Gloria L. (Donoso) Mancheno

Gloria L. Mancheno, of Edison passed away Sunday, April 2nd at home.  She was 85.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, she lived in Newark before moving to Edison in 1965.

She worked as a Hospitality Supervisor at the Sheraton Hotel in Woodbridge for 10 years before retiring in the mid-1990s.

Gloria enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, the NY Rangers hockey team and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Gonzalo; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward & Kathryn of Monmouth Junction, Anthony & Sally of Bradenton, FL and George & Maria of Westfield; daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline & Jim Cohen of Chester; brother, Raul Donoso of Fords; sisters, Nellie Bermeo of Middletown, Martha Frieri of Scotch Plains and Laura Menconi of Monroe; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Christina, Nicholas, Christian, Julia, Matteo, Alexander and Sofia; and 2 great-grandchildren, Alexander and Olivia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, with a Blessing Service at 8:30 PM.  Cremation will be held privately.
